Welcome to the gateway for Materials Testing Equipment Reservation. The purpose of this site is to ensure equal access to the equipment for Faculty, Residents and Fellows, and Graduate and Undergraduate Students. To reserve one of the systems, you will need to first establish a UMD Calendar account. To do so, please contact David Ryan with your SSN, and first and last name. He will contact you when the account is established. You will then be ready to reserve equipment through the University Calendar system. Instructions for using the system can be found here. Feel free to contact David with any questions regarding the materials testing equipment and/or custom attachments. We will work as quickly as possible to begin experimental procedures.
