For More Information: Professor Adam Hsieh hsieh@umd.edu An Introduction to Cochlear Implants Presented by Monita Chatterjee Assistant Professor, Hearing & Speech Sciences University of Maryland Cochlear implants have achieved phenomenal success as a neural prosthesis. However, present-day devices are still limited in the amount and nature of information they transmit to the brain.
